This lecture explores the process of finding queer ancestors (including some acquainted with James Monroe); the ways they sought to understand their lives and loves; and how their experiences were both similar to and different from those of queer people today.

Meet at Riverfront Park @ 10:00AM Procession to begin at 10:30 AM through the streets downtown with Progress Pride flags on either side of us! Saturday, June 24th we are hosting our first ever QUEER TOWN TAKEOVER bringing business back into downtown Fredericksburg after our FXBG PRIDE FEST at Old Mill. In addition to our MAIN EVENT at Market Square - this year we are partnering with 12 local businesses the day of for downtown FXBGs largest queer community/business collaboration yet!
Dragonfly Yoga is hosting FREE Slow Flow Yoga for FXBG PRIDE on Saturday, July 1st, 1:00PM-2:00PM
Join us for an opportunity to relax and unwind. Perfect for all levels - no yoga experience necessary. The studio has about 10 yoga mats available to borrow. Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat if possible, there are limited to borrow. Everything else needed for practice will be provided.
Accessibility: Dragonfly Yoga Studio is not wheelchair accessible. There is a flight of stairs to access the studio.
