Through various art-making prompts\, participants will create a visual of their internal self and reflect on how their unique self affects the community and others around them. Participants will reflect with expressive prompts\, healthy ways to regulate their internal output while making sure their needs are met. This workshop builds on mindfulness and wellness practices through arts and personal creativity to aid in creating a better understanding of oneself and one’s interactions with others. This workshop aids in promoting overall wellness and understanding of boundaries\, personal space\, and community through personal creative expression. \n\nFacilitator Description :\nJessica “Dottie” Heiler (she/her) is currently working toward her M.A. in Mental Health Counseling in Expressive Arts Therapy from Lesley University. Expressive Arts Therapy is an arts-integrated approach to therapy that uses writing\, art\, drama\, music\, and dance ( just to name a few) and one’s creativity as part of the therapeutic process.
